Import bricks Titanic kit

By way of Facebook Marketplace, we got a Chinese origin building brick kit for the HMS Titanic. It is a copy of the name brand kit with 9090 pieces.

We bought it around Father’s Day 2025. The cardboard box weighed 19 lbs / 8.5. kg. With some build times and breaks, we finished it late February 2026. The kit has three sections that display interior components including the rooms, floors, pool, and steam engines.

The plastic bricks are definitely different than the real brand. Slightly more fragile, but acceptable for a static model. The fitment is tight on some of the smaller single nub parts. Longer assembly parts have distinct bow to them, curving away from the bottom.

We are very happy with the end result. The finished model now lives on a shelf of its own. The Titanic brick model measures 53 in / 135 cm long, 18 in / cm high, and 6 in / 15 cm wide. The shelf in the post title is 39.5 in / 1 meter long. This and other import kits are typically available as some of the kits are out of print for the name brand. In addition, the import kits are a fraction of the price. For this kit it was roughly $100 versus $700.

I'm not actually a professor. But, I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express once.
